Acrylic and Watercolour Painting Workshops with Bernice

Arrange a date to suit yourselves to paint in the relaxing, friendly atmosphere at
River View Studio.
The studio is set in three acres of glorious garden overlooking the Trent & Mersey canal with colouful narrowboats moored at the bottom of the garden. A visit to River View is an experience in itself and sketching and painting sessions in the garden can also be arranged but naturally is dependent upon our famous British weather!
Build your confidence in the use of your materials and techniques and learn how to develop your skills to bring out your hidden talents to produce a painting you will be proud of.
Suggested Acrylic workshops (These can be tailor made to suit each group)
Acrylics 1 - Discover the versatility of acrylics. Explore different techniques and mediums. Thick or thin? Use water colour techniques or impasto. Paint a landscape on canvas to take home.
Acrylics 2 - From sketches or photos to paintings - How to work from sketches or photos to produce the best composition. Bring along your inspiration - take home a painting
Acrylics 3 - Florals - Colours, tones and textures to bring your florals to life.
Acrylics 4 - Abstract - Be experimental and have fun with different techniques and tools.
Please be aware that Acylic paint does not wash out so please wear suitable or bring protective clothing.
Watercolours - Beginners & improvers, welcome.
Improve your composition and perspective, skies and reflections .
Acrylic or Watercolour Whole day or Half Day sessions for small groups
10am-4.30 (Stay a bit longer if you wish!) (minimum 5) £39 pp
All materials, endless tea/coffee & biscuits included.
(Bring a packed lunch, eat when you want and give yourself more time to paint.)
10am -1pm (minimum 5) £20 pp All materials, tea/coffee included.
